The British Museum

The British Museum was founded in 1753 and houses a remarkable collection of artefacts, spanning over two million years of human history.

Set in a magnificent building and centred around its impressive glass-roofed Great Court, the museum is home to some of the world's most famous historic objects, including the Rosetta Stone, Parthenon sculptures and Egyptian mummies.
