Museum of Liverpool

The world's first national musuem devoted to the history of the region of Liverpool, giving a comprehensive presentation of its rich creative, sporting and cultural history. From The Beatles, to Liverpool and Everton football clubs, visitors will experience what it means to be a Liverpudlian, with high-tech 360º immersive films and displays. More than 6,000 objects bring the city's immense heritage to life, including Ben Johnson's Liverpool Cityscape, a life-size Liverbird, the first Ford Anglia from Ford's Halewood production line and Chris Boardman's famous Lotus racing bicycle. The ground floor cafe offers relaxing views over the canal and Albert Dock.
