41 Beak Street, London W1F 9SB
POLPO is a bàcaro. This is a Venetian word to describe a humble restaurant serving simple food and good, young Italian wines. We offer tasty small plates, Prosecco and Spritz in a setting that reflects the gloriously faded elegance of Venice, and the of charms of its backstreet wine bars.
POLPO opened on Beak Street in Soho in 2009. It is a lovely and remarkable coincidence that the building was once home to the Venetian painter Canaletto. We also have a separate bar area for drinks and a snack, or as a handy place to hang out while you are waiting for your friends to join you.
POLPO has received the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand for the last 6 years.
