The National Gallery displays over 2,000 paintings from western Europe, dating from the Middle Ages to 20th century. Works by Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Renoir, Boticelli and Turner amongst many others are on display, owned by the public and free to admire. Complimentary audio guides in multiple languages are also provided and a programme of special exhibitions and free family activities can also be enjoyed.
