Since the group’s first opening on Soho’s Peter Street in 2012, Bone Daddies has become famed for its contemporary take on traditional Japanese food, with a specific focus on ramen, alongside the exciting addition of maki rolls and a brand new katsu curry section, all made using well sourced ingredients.
The menu at Bone Daddies Nova offer all of Bone Daddies' original ramen dishes, including the ever-popular T22 ramen (£10.7), with the optional addition of the famed cock-scratchings, the classic Tonkotsu with its 20-hour pork bone broth (£11.2) and the vegetarian Tantanmen ramen (£10.8) made with kara-age tofu and bok choy. Alongside this, there is the new addition of maki rolls, including Spicy Tuna Roll and Softshell Crab Roll, exclusive to Victoria. It also offers the Yuzu Margarita, the signature Bone Daddies cocktail, and a range of Japanese sake and whiskies.
Bone Daddies Nova is split into two levels, seating 50 on ground floor, 40 upstairs and a further 28 outside. The Bone Daddies team worked with B3 designers, who created a space which highlights the group’s known and loved rock ‘n’ roll attitude and Japanese street-scene tone. A mixture of materials, textures and graphics were used, including raw metal work, smashed up tiles and rich toned timbers. Spray paint was used to accentuate the street-food vibe.
