The London Marathon

The Mall

Held annually since 1981, The London Marathon is one of the world's most popular mass-participation running events, and one of the official World Marathon Majors. Over 40,000 runners take part each year, following the 26.2 mile course which starts in Greenwich Park and takes in many of the city's most iconic landmarks before finishing at The Mall by Buckingham Palace.

As well as being run competitively by many of the world's best elite long-distance runners, the London Marathon is also a huge fundraising event, with many participants running to raise money for their chosen charity (lots in fancy dress) and in 2017 raised more than £60 million.

The Nadler Victoria has a privileged location next door to Buckingham Palace, close to the finish line on The Mall (pictured).
